Translated Ananda means feelings of happiness, joy and contentment beyond the normal happiness experienced in life. True Ananda comes from shanti, which is inner peace, tranquillity, serenity and contentment. It is within us all and is not a result of external stimulus or influence. The first step to finding our inner blissfulness is by stilling the mind. Yoga asana practice is an accessible way for everyone to still the mind and begin the journey to internal bliss.

Yoga is an ancient practice and a spiritual discipline which originated in India. Yoga is a way of living
life with acceptance, kindness, compassion, forgiveness, self-awareness and joy.
The physical
element of yoga includes asana (physical practice), pranayama (breathing techniques) and
meditation. Asana is just one of the eight limbs of yoga written in Patanjali’s yoga sutras.
Regular
practice can enhance your life and bring a feeling of calm in this fast moving world we live in.
Bringing harmony between the body and mind it slows down a chattering mind, and we see
ourselves clearly.
